Sidhartha prepares its students for the ICSE curriculum (Indian Certificate of Secondary Education) right from Nursery. Lessons are taught and concepts are imparted to the students with the aid of smart classes, teaching aids, experiments and demonstrations. The curricular activities are complemented with art and craft, General Knowledge and value education.
Early Years
In the Pre-primary classes teachers inculcate the method of play-way. At primary level, learning is experiential, fun and activity based Teachers use flash cards, teaching aids and digital media content to focus on conceptual clarity, developing thinking and analytical skill among students.
Primary school
Grade I to V we follow trans disciplinary approach across all subject areas we at sidhartha are continually adapting to the changing demands of modern education, new teaching techniques are adopted and there is an increasing awareness of the need to provide programmes of study that match individual needs & skills.
Middle school
The middle years provide a framework of academic challenge that encourages students to understand the connections between traditional subjects and the real world and become critical and reflective thinkers. In addition to the core subjects of Mathematics, Science, Social science and languages (English, Kannada, & Hindi) a third group subject Physical Education is introduced In grade 6, Social science is specialized into History, Civics and Geography. From grade 7, General Science is divided into more detailed disciplines Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
Secondary and Senior Years
SIS provides a comprehensive, interdisciplinary curriculum for primary school that combines academic rigor with creative arts. The curriculum is thoughtfully designed and creatively delivered to engage students physically, cognitively, and emotionally.
We consistently strive to create a productive learning environment through activity-based lessons, hands-on experiences, and a variety of co-curricular activities. As students progress through Primary School, we gradually introduce them to an interconnected world of knowledge while focusing on enhancing their skills in core subjects such as English, Mathematics, General Science, and Social Science.
